Kean has been invited to attend Newark Newman’s Shroud of Turin event this Holy Week!
April 16, 2025 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, on NJIT’s campus, located in the Central King Building, room 116.
Few artifacts in the world have stirred the imagination, sparked controversy, raised hypotheses - and for us Catholics, fortified faith - more than the Shroud of Turin, the supposed burial cloth of Jesus.
Join Catechist and NJIT’s Faculty Advisor Carla Guerriero to explore the Shroud of Turin, the most studied archeological object in history, and what it reveals about the Passion of Christ.
Refreshments to be served.
NJIT Parking garage is located at 154 Summit Street, in Newark.
Kean students can drive themselves to the event, or Lucia will have limited seats available in her vehicle to drive from campus on a first come, first served basis when you RSVP to her to claim your spot. This can be done via email, GroupMe, or Instagram DM. Lucia’s car will leave the Kean Vaughn Eames parking lot at 5:30pm following Mass & Adoration on campus.
Please RSVP to Lucia prior to April 11, in order for us to provide a headcount to NJIT ahead of the event.
