Transforming VISER

May 25, 2022

Kean Catholics is blessed to have an exciting resource on Kean University’s campus: The Visualization and Immersive Studio for Education and Research, also known as VISER. VISER is a state-of-art technology room that provides a 270-degree immersive experience to those who walk through its doors. It is equipped with ten 4K laser projectors to display a seamless image across three walls of the room. Talk about an impressive space!

With no chapel or prayer room on campus at Kean, Campus Ministry often turns to the incredible team behind VISER to use their space when we want to feel like we are in our own little Kean church. It provides us with a reverent, quiet space to focus on the presence of Jesus in Eucharistic Adoration. It provides us with a quiet and peaceful space for prayer meetings, and to pray the Holy Rosary. It also is used when we want to binge some episodes of The Chosen, and feel like we are there, walking with the characters that act out the greatest story of all time.

To check out what the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons has to offer, and learn more about VISER, you can head to their website:
