Shroud of Turin: Talk at NJIT

Our friends at Newark Newman Catholic have invited us to a Holy Week event!

“The Shroud of Turin: Reflections for Holy Week” will be an event on Tuesday, March 26 at 5:20pm to about 6:30pm in the Central King Building, room 226 on NJIT’s campus.

Join Catechist and NJIT Newman Catholic Advisor Carla Guerrio to explore the Shroud of Turin, the most studied archaeological object in history, and what it reveals about the Passion of Christ.

The Shroud of Turin is a length of linen burial cloth that bears a faint image of the front and back of a man, believed to be Jesus.

Refreshments will be served, and for those driving in, parking in the parking guarage at 154 Summit Street, Newark is recommended.

Let us know if you plan to attend this event! Carpooling may be arranged from campus depending on participation.
