SHU Trip: Dorothy Day & The Visual Arts as Preaching

Wednesday, April 9th, at 7:00pm, located in the Seminary Chapel of Lewis Hall on Seton Hall University’s Campus:

Immaculate Conception Seminary’s School of Theology at Seton Hall University presents:
The Many Faces of Hospitality: Dorothy Day and the Visual Arts as Preaching

Hear from and meet artist Br. Mickey McGrath, who is an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales, as well as an author, retreat director, and art and faith tour guide from Camden, New Jersey. He will be giving his presentation on Dorothy day and art as preaching for the evening.

Following, attendees of the event (and students who are of-age) are invited by the event to join for a wine and cheese reception with the artist to follow in the Refectory.
Prints and books by the artist will be available for purchase.

Any Kean students looking to drive themselves to this event can RSVP directly to SHU by emailing alyssa.carolan@shu.edu by Wednesday, April 2.

Kean students looking for a ride from Kean’s campus to SHU and back must RSVP to Lucia by evening of April 1, 2025 in order for Lucia to RSVP for her group.

Parking is free at SHU in their parking garage on campus.
