Following our usual Monday Mass on November 18th in MSC 226, stick around as we will have a brief 15 minutes of Eucharistic Adoration. Mass typically ends around 4:00pm, and we will immediately start Adoration, and end around 4:15pm.
Unfamiliar with Eucharistic Adoration? Here is what to expect:
We ask that anyone attending silence phones and refrain from using your devices; in order to place sole focus on the Body of Christ. This is also respectful to those praying around you.
When present in adoration, it is appropriate to kneel as the priest unveils the Eucharist, the Body of Christ, then either sit back in your seat or remain kneeling. as you wish throughout the length of adoration.
Adoration is a time for silent prayer or reflection. Some people close their eyes, some pray the rosary, some read the Bible, write or journal, etc.
You are welcome to stay for the whole time, or to silently & reverently enter and exit as you wish.
It begins and concludes with prayer, which will be provided on sheets of paper before we begin.
